Making an Impact in Our Community Through Social Change.

Join Girls in Tech San Diego for our Second Annual Hacking for Humanity, a Hackathon for social good! This year our hacking efforts will be focused on tackling topics that deal with San Diego Homelessness.

We’ll be hosted at the NEW Amazon offices in UTC with mentors and speakers from top San Diego tech companies as well as Homeless advocacy networks! All meals and the networking event are included!

This Hackathon exists to enable the rapid prototyping of a complex problem and provide a range of solutions in a short period of time. By hacking with us, we are aiming to think bigger for global change with tech, while also allowing impassioned women to engage in innovation and entrepreneurship within our tech ecosystem. We are calling all women and men across the globe, including developers, designers, product developers, and entrepreneurs, plus businesses that want to embrace the idea of Social Innovation or initiatives that combine a positive mission with business.

Your ticket will include:

  • Prizes and giveaways

  • Break-out sessions

  • Meals and beverages

  • Networking opportunities
